In 2001, Roy co-founded Adage Technologies combining a passion for technology and the desire to build a company focused on driving business value through web technology. As President, Roy's energy and customer centric approach have helped to grow Adage to a well respected web and software development firm.
Roy has over 20 years of experience in technology sales, consulting, and development. Prior to founding Adage, Roy was a principal of a Cisco VAR and a web development firm in the late 1990s. Roy has also held business development positions with Wolfram Research and GE Capital.
Roy holds a BA in Communications with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign. In addition to Roy enjoying time with his wife and two children, Roy likes to coach soccer, hike, bike, ski, and anything else that lets him enjoy the outdoors.
Patrick Emmons - Director of Professional Services
As co-founder of Adage Technologies, Patrick has been instrumental in building a cohesive and well tuned development staff. Pat's focus on taking the best of software development methodologies, recruiting, and employee training and applying them to web application development has created a solid foundation for Adage's continued success.
Patrick is an accomplished technical architect with more than 15 years of programming and web development experience and is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD). Prior to Adage, Patrick was a principal for another web development firm and also worked as a developer / consultant for Ameritech, Motorola, and Baker Robbins.
Patrick is a graduate of St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics. Pat enjoys spending time with his wife and five children. With his free time, Patrick plays hockey and helps coach his sons' baseball team.
Mathieu Agee - Director of Technology
In his role as Director of Technology, Mathieu is responsible for setting the technology direction of Adage Technologies. For any ASP.NET technology coming out of Microsoft, Mathieu personally completes deep technical reviews of new features and functions. He then determines how the Adage development team can leverage the technology for our customers. Additionally, he heads up training and mentoring efforts for younger developers and new hires.
Mathieu has 10 years of experience in developing and delivering solutions on the Microsoft technology stack and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD). Mathieu has developed a wide range of applications including inventory management, MS Great Plains integration, Siebel customization, and ASP.NET internet, intranet and portal solutions with extensive experience in property and casualty insurance.
Mathieu is a graduate of University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Business Studies. Mathieu enjoys learning more about technology when not spending time with his two dogs or at the gym.
Russ Klitchman - Director of Operations
Russ has over 15 years of experience developing and fine tuning the operation activities of a technology company. This includes starting up Purple Monkey Studios Inc. in his basement and forming it into one of the premier web development companies in the Chicago area. As an entrepreneur and CEO of Purple Monkey, Klitchman was responsible for running all aspects of the business.
Klitchman and his partner sold that business to Bridgeline Digital in 2007, where he became Executive Vice President and General Manager of the firm’s Chicago office. Prior to joining Adage Technologies, Klitchman served as a project director at the Leo Burnett Group, managing online advertising and internet marketing initiatives.
Russ graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Elmhurst College. His early career revolved around coding the earliest stages of digital video at Andersen Consulting’s (later Accenture) research and development center.
Away from work, Russ enjoys spending time with his wife and seven children.
