The Need
The American Dietetic Association is the world’s largest association of food and nutrition professionals. While aesthetically pleasing, the site is packed with features. After working with two previous firms that failed to deliver, the ADA needed a partner that could help manage a complicated content management system implementation and high impact member service programming projects.
The Solution
The ADA contracted Adage to make several improvements to their existing site. This included Find a Registered Dietician, build Kids Eat Right, and revise the My ADA section of the site. The ADA also asked Adage to integrate the website with their association management system, Avectra.
The Avectra integration included working with the ADA to identify items available for purchase from the ADA website. With the new integration, members will not only be able to renew their membership online but also purchase products from the online store. Integration with the online store provides appropriate pricing for members and non-members as well as taking the member level within Avectra and displaying that member’s appropriate pricing level.
