The Need
Meridian Group offers both technology solutions and financing. As a global solution provider, Meridian companies provide a variety of services in many markets around the world. The web site provides information about the various companies that are part of the Meridian Group as well as communications from corporate marketing and management. All corporate and group company events are offered through one event calendar managed via the web site and content management system. With a sizable investment in the content management system, Meridian needed a company to complete a major software version of Ektron CMS400.NET.
The Solution
Meridian selected Adage to complete the Ektron CMS400.NET upgrade and enhance other aspects of the system. Adage updated the Meridian code and database to the latest release of Ektron, providing Meridian with the latest Ektron features. Adage re-organized the site structure and utilized Ektron features to improve web site usability.
A major feature included the implementation of user friendly URLs aliasing for SEO. This provided two benefits: easier reference by Meridian and customers as well as making the site pages more relevant for search engines. Adage also created a custom events calendar using Ektron membership groups that allows Administrators and Event Managers the ability to create and control the display and registration for all events on their site.
