The Need
GC America, a globally recognized dental product manufacturer, was in need of a change control management solution with workflow that wasn’t restricted to a third party web application. The new application was to enable employees to initiate and manage the change control process within various departments of the organization.
The Solution
Adage assisted GC America with transitioning from a third party application to Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0. This internalized change control management system allows for streamlined workflow within the organization. Users simply request a new change control project for approval. Once approved, the system creates and auto-assigns tasks for different users. Upon task completion, project status, key dates, and other specific details are automatically updated.
