The Need
MCM Solutions provides care management for self-funded health plans. Using disparate and very different systems for different aspects of their business, MCM chose a new medical management system and needed a reliable partner to assist in the migration of the data from the old systems to the new one.
The Solution
MCM chose Adage to work with their internal staff and the software vendor to plan and help manage the software implementation. Adage was responsible for working with the software vendor and map data fields from each of the existing systems and where they map into the new software database. Additionally, Adage advised MCM on best practices for the data migration including strategies for missing or incomplete data from the previous software applications that were reqiured by the new system. Adage was also responsible for working with MCM on various customer data feeds/exchanges.
