Silver Cross Hospital

The Need

Silver Cross Hospital needed an automated system to replace a paper-based method for managing and tracking leadership goals. Individuals managed their own goals and progress via Word documents that were manually maintained and modified. A manager was then responsible for approving and modifying the Word document as needed and also checking it periodically (e.g., monthly) as status updates were made.  The paper-based system did not provide reporting capability or the ability to set up starting and closing dates for restricting update access.  

The Solution

The new system eliminates the paper-based goal tracking system by building and deploying an automated, web-based solution to be used by hospital leadership. The application will eventually include all hospital employees. The new system ensures that data is stored, accessed, and retrieved securely based on predefined roles dependent on ActiveDirectory.
