Ascender Fonts

The Need

Ascender Corporation is a  leading provider of advanced font products specializing in type design, font development, and licensing.  As font industry experts, they needed a robust solution to market and sell their own brand of fonts along with collections of fonts from other font creators. 

The Solution

Adage helped Ascender with their redesign and implemented an eCommerce solution for their font marketplace. Using Microsoft .Net architecture, Adage created an eCommerce site that allows Ascendor to control products, pricing, and placement of information.  Their site caters to the casual font purchaser.  Users can access the site and either browse or search for fonts.  Fonts are organized on the site in a manner that a casual consumer would want to find them i.e. byOccasion, Personality, or Project.  Additional categories include Type Style and Language.
