Anvil Club
The Need
Established in 1956 by 10 local businessmen, The Anvil Club is Chicago's premier private dining club. Anvil needed a web site that would allow Anvil the ability to update menus and event dates. Anvil selected Adage to complete the design and build the functionality into the web site.
The Solution
Adage built a simple web site providing visitors a view of the menu and directions to the restaurant. A Microsoft Access database was created along with dynamic pages to display the various menus and events. To manage the information on the web site, an administrative interface was built allowing staff to update menu items including lunch, dinner, a wine list, drinks, bar food, and desserts. In addition, the restaurant's events are kept up-to-date via the administrative features of the web site. The administrative section of the web site requires no knowledge of HTML allowing real time modifications on the web site.
