Maintenance & Support

Whether the web site or software code is contained on your servers or in our hosting facility, Adage will actively support your application for years after its initial release. We deliver reliable, ongoing maintenance of your customized web applications as well as any enhancements needed to adapt the software as your business changes or grows.

Adage will never leave you “stranded.” We have often had companies come to us because their internal development team or web development company could not complete the project or simply disappeared. Adage stays with you, providing all the ongoing support you need following the release of your web site or application. After all, off-the-shelf software is constantly being updated and maintained. Your web or custom application should not be any different.

Questions to ask a support provider:

“Do you use source control?”

This should be the first question asked of any software development company. At Adage, the answer is, “Absolutely!” We typically operate off-site and will either host source control for you or access your source control system and code remotely to maintain your web site or application.

“How do you provide support?”

Adage has built a proven methodology for supporting clients. Customers can call, email, or submit tickets to us via this website. From there, specific development teams are responsible for handling the request. We contact customers within one business day with an expected timeline for resolution or action. In emergencies, action is taken as soon as possible.

“Why do you work primarily off-site?”

Adage provides our own tools, source control, infrastructure, and best practices to help manage your application. All of our developers are local and work in our office in Chicago. This off-site approach provides true team structure and collaboration, allowing for agile development like code reviews and peer-to-peer feedback.
