The Need
The Global Information Support Organization - Remote Site Team (GISO-RST) is responsible for infrastructure relocation for groups of 300 people or less at Lucent Technologies. This represents more than 1000 Lucent locations worldwide. GISO-RST was looking for a way to improve this relocation process making it quicker and more efficient. To accomplish this task, Lucent Technologies engaged to build a Web-based facilities management application.

The Solution
Adage built the electronic Work Statement Request (eWSR), which allows end-users the ability to enter service requests and track the request's progress. The eWSR application provides an intuitive tool to enable the GISO-RST team to effectively capture the necessary information from end-users to begin processing the request. Using this tool the requester can review the request's progress and GISO-RST team is able to effectively manage all of its elements. The requests can range from simply upgrading telecommunication services to moving an entire department from one location to another.
