The Cleveland Orchestra splits its time performing at three separate venues, but it needed a website that made for a unified experience for each visitor.

Adage helped the Orchestra develop a new site with not only a unified user experience and branding, but also an easy-to-use unified backbone built on the EPiServer content management system.

Cleveland Orchestra's site introduced a fresh look that resonated with audiences old and new.

The Solution

Though it had been recently redesigned and relaunched by another firm, The Cleveland Orchestra wasn’t happy with the design or performance of its website. The look and feel of the site was old and stale. The purchase path for tickets was treacherous, and more often than not, spurred calls to the box office from angry and confused patrons.

So when the orchestra tasked Adage with switching things up, we started from scratch.

Adage built the Orchestra a responsive website that allows users to browse rich content and buy tickets for performances at the group’s Severance Hall home and its summer events at Blossom Music Festival. Each venue has its own stylistic flourishes, but the site design is remarkably cohesive.

The clean, modern feel of the site is bolstered by ACE Platform’s dependable purchase process and thoughtful subscription path, while the orchestra’s site administrators are able to update show information and other content from one stable, centralized location in the EPiServer content management system.
